Acacia iteaphylla is an evergreen Australian shrub native to South Australia's dry woodlands and rocky hillsides, forming a large, weeping mound of gracefully pendulous branchlets. The foliage consists of narrow, grey-green to glaucous phyllodes that carry the plant's structural display year-round.

Before opening into pale yellow spherical flower heads, the floral buds are uniquely enclosed in prominent, pinkish or purplish bracts that provide distinct winter interest. Cultivated forms like 'Parsons Cascade' offer a prostrate habit, growing to only half a metre high while spreading up to four metres wide.
