What you do

Replace thirsty landscape and inefficient irrigation with water-wise plants, mulch, drip and smart controllers after pre-approval.

Requirements

  • Pre-approval; no work before dated Authorization to Proceed
  • Planted areas covered with 3 inches or more of mulch
  • Synthetic turf not eligible
  • 120 days from authorization to finish
  • Itemized receipts and after photos
  • Drip retrofit requires video of working sprinklers

How to apply

  1. 1Email the completed page one of the application, project description and before photos to [email protected] (subject: SLRP Application - ADDRESS)
  2. 2Staff review and return application with eligible items
  3. 3Sign page two and receive dated Authorization to Proceed
  4. 4Complete within 120 days
  5. 5Submit itemized receipts and after photos by the deadline
  6. 6Check issued
