Alliant Energy customers; max 2 trees per property and no more than 3 property orders per homeowner per season.

Alliant Energy electric customers in Iowa, with 2026 pickup events in Ogden, Vinton, Oelwein, Mount Pleasant and Mason City.
Status
Seasonal. All five 2026 spring events show Sold Out; whether a fall 2026 or 2027 round will run is not published.

What you do

Reserve discounted landscape-size trees online and pick them up at a local event, then plant them at your address.

Requirements

  • Alliant Energy customer
  • Up to 2 trees per private property address; list each address on the order
  • Pick up at the listed event time; unclaimed trees are forfeited
  • Bring confirmation email showing species and planting locations
  • No warranty on trees

How to apply

  1. 1Use the Reserve Your Trees link on the Iowa DNR residential tree program page
  2. 2Choose species and planting address(es) and pay $25 per tree
  3. 3Attend the pickup event with the confirmation email
