What you do
Reduce the quarterly stormwater user fee by planting or keeping a native riparian buffer, installing a stormwater BMP, or adopting a storm inlet.
Requirements
- Riparian buffer: at least 25 contiguous linear feet of stream buffered, 35 ft wide from top of bank (narrower may be considered)
- Structural BMPs need an O&M agreement and a PA-licensed Professional Engineer signed and sealed design
- Application fee applies for buildable BMP credits (see Attachment A); none for rain barrel or Adopt an Inlet
- Adopt an Inlet: keep leaves and debris off your adopted inlet; one inlet counted per home
- Pre-application meeting for new BMPs
- Credits revoked if BMP is not maintained
The plan or design it asks for
Structural BMPs need engineer-sealed design and O&M agreement; riparian buffers need an O&M plan and inspection reports.
