What you do

Pick up a voucher, buy qualifying native plants from a participating nursery, and turn in the voucher and receipt for 50% reimbursement.

  • Qualifying plants on the city's native plant list
  • Plants on an itemized receipt separate from other purchases
  • Plants labeled native or for the city program
  • Purchase between $50 and $500

How to apply

  1. 1From April 22, 2026, register for and pick up a voucher at Engineering Division, Suite 140, Brookings City & County Government Center, 520 Third St.
  2. 2Present voucher at a participating nursery or business when buying
  3. 3Ensure native plants appear on an itemized receipt
  4. 4Turn voucher and receipt in to the Engineering Division for reimbursement
