Get a street tree planting permit for the public right-of-way next to your property and buy an approved street tree with the voucher.

Requirements

  • Planting site must meet all street tree planting regulations
  • Approved permit required
  • Trees should come from the recommended street tree list
  • Abutting owner is responsible for the tree's care (per city news)
  • Redeem at participating retailer

How to apply

  2. 2If approved, Parks and Rec emails or sends a signed permit and voucher; if denied you get an explanation
  3. 3Take permit and voucher to a participating nursery (Lewis, Country Acres Tree Farm, Landscape Garden Centers, Nursery Wholesalers Inc. of SD, Oak Ridge Nursery & Landscaping, Weller Brothers) for a discount on approved street trees
