The plan or design it asks for

Pre-approval application: project area estimate, start/end dates, homeowner permission letter if renting, existing irrigation info, 2-4 pre-installation photos, a site plan with dimensions showing property lines, buildings, streets, sidewalks, driveways and existing plants, and a planting plan listing the plants.

Make the plan in Sow

Draw the layout and build the plant list

Sow places plants on a photo of your yard and keeps a list of everything you add. Check City of Pflugerville's rules for exactly what to submit.

How to apply

  1. 1Submit pre-approval application in the WaterSmart customer portal (Services and Forms) with site plan, photos and planting plan
  2. 2Wait for pre-approval before starting
  3. 3Complete the project
  4. 4Submit completion documents for inspection and payment (details on the program page's Application Process and Receive Rebate tabs, not fully read)
