What you do

Buy low-water tall fescue/bluegrass seed blend at cost and reseed your lawn (kill grass, mow low, seed) to use about 30% less water.

Requirements

  • Must have a SLC Public Utilities water service account number
  • Plant between April 1 and October 1 (Oct 1 recommended deadline)
  • After establishment (3 to 4 weeks) water once a week at 1/2 inch
