What you do

Install an EPA WaterSense labeled soil moisture sensor system paired with a qualifying weather-based irrigation controller.

Requirements

  • Must be EPA WaterSense labeled and listed on epa.gov/watersense
  • Sensor must be paired with a qualifying weather-based irrigation controller
  • Application within 6 months of purchase with receipt
  • BWS may inspect before payment and up to 5 years after

How to apply

  1. 1Buy and install the sensor and controller
  2. 2Complete the Residential Rebate Application (Rev 4.2026) and sign the Terms
  3. 3Mail to P.O. Box 1440, Honolulu, HI 96806 or email [email protected] with the receipt
  4. 4Check mailed to payee
