What you do

Convert live turf at an LVVWD-served home through the SNWA Water Smart Landscapes program; LVVWD adds an extra per-square-foot payment automatically.

Requirements

  • Same as SNWA Water Smart Landscapes: pre-conversion approval before removing grass, drip irrigation, 50% plant coverage at maturity, mulch, perpetual conservation easement
  • Conversion must be completed within 12 months

How to apply

  1. 1Apply to SNWA Water Smart Landscapes online (no separate LVVWD form)
  2. 2Complete the SNWA pre-conversion visit, conversion, inspection and easement steps
  3. 3Add-on is paid with the SNWA rebate

Estimate your rebate

Uses the published rate per square foot of grass removed, on top of the SNWA rebate. The program sets the final amount after its inspection.
