Eremophila maculata, commonly known as the spotted emu bush, is an intricate, branching shrub native to the arid and semi-arid inland regions of Australia. It forms a dense or open mound of linear to oblanceolate leaves, producing solitary, tubular flowers mainly from autumn through to spring.

The species is highly variable in flower colour, bearing bugle-shaped blooms in shades of red, orange, yellow, or pink with distinct pale, spotted throats. It is highly adapted to heavy clay soils on floodplains and salt flats, demonstrating exceptional drought and moderate frost tolerance once established.
