Deutzia gracilis is a small, deciduous shrub native to Japan, known for its graceful, arching branches and profuse clusters of small, white, star-shaped flowers in spring. 'Duncan', sold as Chardonnay Pearls®, is a standout cultivar due to its striking lime-yellow foliage that holds its color all season. Its pearly white flower buds open to fragrant white flowers, creating a beautiful contrast with the bright leaves.
