'Cora Louise' is an Itoh (intersectional) peony, a hybrid between herbaceous and tree peonies. It features large, semi-double, white flowers with striking dark lavender flares at the petal bases, borne on strong stems that do not require staking. This cultivar combines the best traits of its parents: the large, exotic flowers and foliage of a tree peony with the hardiness and vigorous growth of an herbaceous peony. The flowers are also fragrant.
