Melaleuca nesophila, commonly known as the showy honey myrtle, is a large evergreen shrub or small multi-stemmed tree native to the coastal cliffs and sandy plains of Western Australia. The species is characterised by its thick, spongy, greyish-white peeling bark and twisted, sculptural branches that form a dense, rounded canopy.

This species is distinguished by its aromatic, bright green, blunt-ended leaves and terminal, pom-pom-like flower heads that measure up to 30 millimetres across. The flowers open in shades of bright purple, mauve, or rose-pink, then fade to paler tones to produce a distinct two-toned effect.
