The P.J.M. group of rhododendrons are compact, small-leaved hybrids known for their exceptional cold hardiness, sun tolerance, and profuse early spring blooms. Their aromatic leaves turn a rich mahogany-purple in winter.

'P.J.M. Elite' is an improved selection with a more vigorous, upright habit and slightly larger, brighter lavender-pink flowers than the original P.J.M. It is a very reliable and heavy bloomer.
