The Story

A low-growing, dense, evergreen Satsuki azalea hybrid. It has small, glossy green leaves and forms a compact, spreading mound.

'Chinzan' is a dwarf variety highly prized for bonsai cultivation. It produces an abundance of clear, salmon-pink, funnel-shaped flowers late in the azalea season.

Uses & Benefits:

Its low, mounding habit and profusion of late-season pink flowers make it an excellent choice for the front of borders, rock gardens, or as a refined groundcover. It is a world-class subject for bonsai.
