The Story
Plant Bio
A deciduous shrub with large, toothed, dark green leaves. As a lacecap type, it produces flattened flower heads composed of small, fertile inner flowers and an outer ring of large, sterile florets. Flower color is pink in alkaline soils and blue in acidic soils. Distinguished by its very large lacecap flowers, up to 10 inches (25cm) across. The sterile outer florets are double and star-shaped, opening white and maturing to pink or blue depending on soil pH.
